One Year with Keller Williams

A look back.

One year ago this week we were announcing our transition from our previous firm to Keller Williams Realty. After spending more than 13 years there, it was a huge change to leave the only company Nic had been with for his real estate career. Nic had just attended Mega Camp, one of the Keller Williams conferences in Austin, TX, with the leadership of this office, and was blown away by the opportunities in training KW provided.

When he returned, we couldn’t make the switch fast enough. It just so happened that the Keller Williams Bearden office was also moving! We transitioned at the same time they moved from down the street on Kingston Pike. It felt less like we were the new kids in school and more like transitioning from separate middle schools to high school. We were welcomed with open arms from everyone.

Since then, we’ve jumped in to the community of KW. We love that there is an (unwritten) open door policy - agents pop in to say hi and ask for advice or brainstorm together. Though always a friendly competition, teams are quick to share ideas with one another.

We’ve attended Halloween costume parties (notice I didn’t say won), enjoyed a company-wide Christmas party at Cherokee Country Club, participated in Red Day by serving in our community, and celebrated each other at the Keller Williams awards ceremony.

We’ve traveled to the Keller Williams Family Reunion in New Orleans and another Mega Camp in Austin. We saw four agents go through BOLD this spring, and 2 agents complete Fast Track school this summer - both accelerated training programs offered by KW. We’ve collectively attended hundreds of hours of training and coaching at our office.

We’ve said farewell to some of our team members and wished them well on their new adventures, and welcomed new agents - both to KW and our team, and in their real estate career.

We’ve grown as a team-family, celebrating birthdays and holidays together, crying happy tears through adoptions and welcoming new foster babies, and learning of new little ones to be had.

We’ve helped first time homeowners navigate through the buying process, new families find their dream home, and sellers close one chapter as they move on to the next.

In all, we’ve helped over 100 families since moving to Keller Williams, and it won't stop there.

Thank you for using The Nic Nicaud Team. For trusting us on this journey. For telling your friends and family about your experience with us. For sharing this part of your lives with us.

Love,

The Nic Nicaud Team

...and now a funny video because I couldn't not include it. 🙂

Hi friends,

Kristen Rider here. You may recognize my face or name if you've sold a house with us! I'm a listing coordinator for the team, and run the marketing and social media. Originally from Indiana, I spent a couple years along the Atlantic coast before coming back to Knoxville. I love the trails and greenways, and the community found among both the running and Crossfit families here. I'm also a big fan of being down the road from my one and a half year old niece and soon-to-be 4 year old nephew.
